Nordic Data Centers is a joint venture between Skellefteå Kraft and NDC Data Centers.

Skellefteå Kraft is an energy company founded in 1906 and based in Sweden, wholly owned by Skellefteå Municipality, providing renewable energy through wind- and hydro power. Producing the energy primarily in Northern Sweden, Skellefteå Kraft supplies electricity nation-wide. As it is a municipality owned company it has strong political and financial backing, as well as access to land.

NDC is a data center development company based in Munich, with projects all over Europe. They build energy efficient and green data centers with focus on agility, cost, low risk and the minimum possible environmental footprint. NDC is jointly owned by Nixdorf and Aqal Group. Nixdorf consists of a pool of companies with focus on real estate and renewable energy projects. Aqal is an integral investing company, focusing on impact (to environment and society) as well as profit.
