Veden is a brownfield site optimal for a mega datacenter in an area with an abundance of renewable energy. The site offers an existing industrial building in mint condition, readily planned for a 2,6 MW datacenter, and an option for greenfield expansion. The planning includes layouts, bill of material, time schedule and a possibility for energy reuse.
The total available area is 21 000 sqm with an existing industrial building of 3 400 sqm. Plans and permissions available for 1000 sqm building expansion. The area is zoned for industrial use with a maximal allowed building height of 15 m.

The site is located 1 km från the European highway E12 with existing road access to the site. Lycksele city center is 2 km away. Lycksele Airport is 8 km from the site and connects with a less than two hour direct flight to Stockholm/Arlanda international Airport, and by extension other major domestic/international destinations with acceptable connection times.
Available load in the industrial building is 1,3 MW today. Additional 4 MW within 12 months. The datacenter can be powered by renewable energy such as wind- and hydropower, with the nearest hydro power plant some 1,2 km away.
Local area fiber provided. Redundancy can be arranged. In addition, Skanova Backbone North has a termination point less than 1 km from the site.
